Hi, just wanna tell you I finished this pants today and so happy. Drafted the pattern according to your video myself. Rejected by first seamstress because it's not complete. Eventually it needs 3 seamstress to make it perfect but it's a perfect skirt pants now. Thank you for making this tutorial video. It's an interesting journey.

On the shorts, I’d like to know why did you have to come in a quarter of an inch where the crouch line is and then make the curve line from the crouch to the bottom of the shorts???

Yes, your voice is different. But there was such an attraction to your essence that I determined to listen as best I could. I believe everyone has a volume button on their devices that they can use to adjust to their preference. There are many videos that have background music that was very distracting to me. So I use the mute button and I read the transcript if there is one. I also have these little things called “loops.” to put in my ears to muffle sounds that bother me. I have always been sensitive to sounds. I learned how to “see about myself”. I would suggest that anyone who is “annoyed” by your voice should do the same. Please continue being your beautiful,ebullient, generous, intelligent, happy, joyous, creative, delightful, Sewing self!

I made my pattern, but I am afraid I will not have enough room to get into this top that has no stretch! i’m going to make one out of muslin first. Is there a formula for how much “ease”to add as the size goes up? What holds me back? I’ve gotten stuck in a tight shirt before.😂 I got it on, but I couldn’t get it off. The other thing that holds me back is- if there is enough room to get it on and off then it looks boxy. It looks good on you so I’ll give it a try.

I am watching your videos religiously and learning so much. I am new to this field trying to learn sewing by myself. I have seen your drafting bodice block with dart video. Tried myself. But my shoulder seam of front and back bodice is not matching length wise. Please help me with this. How can adjust this? Or I have taken any measurements wrong? Please help.

I made some of these with a different technique, the burrito method. I used flower and veggie fabric remnants from the thrift store and made “Sprinkler Scrunchies” or “Faucet Friends.” Now when I turn on the water I wear the scrunchie around my wrist so I don’t forget the watering, and then return it back to the faucet where it stays until next time. I’m so proud of my little idea and our house sitter loved it too!

I've been watching your videos before I even got a sewing machine and now that I have one I'm completely overwhelmed with project ideas! I tend to get over ambitious with ideas as a beginner, so it was nice to wake up to a simple and useful project. Thanks for sharing!

I know this is second nature to you but not to me. So WOW! I am very jealous of anyone who can sew clothing like this. I am not one of those people. I can sew about anything else but not clothing.

I love it. I've always been afraid of zippers. I have sewn a few zippers in my life but I can count on just one hand how many I have sewn. But I'm going to see some of these pouches. My twin granddaughters would clip one of these on their backpacks.
